If so, here’s   a way to possibly save you $$$$. In Massachusetts, there’s a program offered as part of www.massenergy.com  Mass Energy is a non-profit consumer advocacy group that strives to provide home-owners with a lower cost alternative to high heating oil prices., with NO income restriction! They deliver the oil through local oil companies. All you have to do is become a member by paying a modest (about $45 – or $10 if you’re over 65) annual membership fee and indicating the type of delivery you want (automatic, or  by order {which allows you to monitor day-to-day price fluctuations and take advantage of those fluctuations}, but demands that you monitor the tank reserve yourself). One customer indicated a $2.60 vs. $3.14 gal saving hundreds of $$$ for the year.

Defintely worth checking this out to realize  significant savings even though you may be subject to a service contract. Also, you may be able to keep your existing oil company if they belong to the program.
